Pre-Children's House and Children's House Before & After School Care
Care is offered before school, starting at 7:00 a.m. and after school, ending
at 5:45 p.m. for additional cost. There are full-day Montessori
classrooms available for children who consistently need care during these
times. This arrangement minimizes transitions for the student, allows
staff and students to remain consistent, and lets younger students nap in
a familiar environment. Please note, without advanced contractual
commitment, as on the Before & After School Care Contract, we cannot guarantee availability
of space for drop in care.[1] We ask you to
contact the office a minimum of 24 hours in advance to check on availability
if you occasionally need this service.
Elementary/Adolescent
Before school (7:00 - 8:00 a.m.) and After school (3:15 - 5:45 p.m.) care is supervised care for the elementary and adolescent students that give them a choice in a variety of activities, including: board games, reading time, creative play, sports, outdoor playground time. Due to the variety of group activities that are available, electronic games from home are not allowed during Before or After School Care. A snack is provided for students at about 4:00 p.m. Please note that we staff these times based on the Before & After School Care Contract, and cannot guarantee availability of space for drop-in care. [1] : Please note- You may sign up for Before and After School care according to pre-assigned blocks of time. You will be billed for the entire block of time, regardless of the portion of the block of time used (please refer to the Before & After School Care Contract as well as the Change Form for Before & After School Care).
